00 — Peace Comes to a Troubled World

Speaker: Del Martin

2020 Dec 20     Outline     Group Material     Song List     Livestream

The story of Jesus birth in Luke concludes with the declaration of Peace on earth. The source of peace is the Prince of Peace (Isa. 9:6) that is Christ who is our peace (Eph. 2:14). To have peace means to have Christ. Jesus was the gift given by God to bring peace to humankind. To receive peace means to have a right relationship with God, a right relationship with others and then we will have peace with ourselves and our environment.

The current pandemic is troubling to most of us in some way or others. This is a time to have a deeper relationship with the Lord and not look to other things for our source of peace.

00 — Christmas 2023 – Light Has Come

Speaker: Del Martin

2023 Dec 24     Outline     Study Guide     Group Material     Song List     Livestream

The world situation and much of humanity is in darkness. But God loves the world and sent Jesus to be the light of the world. He came to bring light, life, love, and joy. However, people need to see that all these things are only found in Jesus. We pray that at least some people will come to know Jesus as light in their life at this time of year.
